Hi all

Could somebody please tell me the best place in Dorset to see Dipper? As I am heading down that way soon & would like to photograph them.If prefered anyone can send me a PM.

Thanx.

Steve.

There are often reports of dipper on the river near Maiden Newton, west of Dorchester but in my experience they are not very reliable. I've been about a dozen times at all seasons and not seen them. If you want to photograph dipper I suggest you try Devon/Cornwall or Derbyshire. It's a rare bird in Dorset and far from guaranteed.
But good luck.
