Bird kills man (1 Viewer)

It has happened before and will happen again. Those artificial spurs are razor sharp. This "sport" is more popular and much more widespread than Dog Fighting, Dog Racing and Horse Racing (the sport of kings), all of which are morally just as suspect. When I was growing up in a rural area there was a neighborhood bar nearby whose owner raised Gamecocks for profit and fighting. The hens roosted in the trees at night just beyond the Right Field fence of our ball field. A home run late in the evening would cause them to scatter.

What's next?

"Coming soon to Fox Network: Budgie with a Bren gun!"

There have been a few cases over the years of gundogs stepping on triggers or jumping up when a shooter has been climbing over a fence or hedge without 'breaking' the shotgun. Retrievers on target?

Wasn't there a case of a fox shooting a man recently in a tussle where the fox 'accidentally' pulled the trigger.

Doubtless the fox cited Miss Effie's 1949 defence in the song I didn't know the gun was loaded. The Andrews Sisters had the most-played recording.
