Graham Etherington is also a cracking birder! I've had the privilege of following him around as he reeled off IDs of Belize birds way back in the 1980s before he decided the academic life was for him!

Its the same bloke is it? I remember Viper from Scilly and twitches, wondered if it was him from the name but had no idea he'd gone all scientific on us.
