Birding wildlife holiday in January (1 Viewer)

Hopefully Birding...
Thinking about taking a trip to a location for a birding wildlife holiday for a few days in January..thinking shetlands or isles of Scillies ? Any suggestions? Not mega experienced, but enjoy being out and about.

Whereabouts in England are you from now? Birders wouldn't normally hit those two places you mention in January, but the autumn, or perhaps late spring instead. Norfolk would be a good birding destination if you were after a good variety of birds, but that might not be your only motivation.
