Central Florida Marsh - Maybe Tricolored Heron?? (1 Viewer)

Can anyone confirm if this is a Tricolored Heron? Or, if not, does anyone know what it is?

Thank you!

On a side note - how would I tell the difference between a Great Blue Heron and a Tricolored Heron? I have another picture of a guy from the same pond that I currently have labeled as a Tricolored Heron - but now I'm having doubts that I'm classifying these correctly.

That is correct. As for telling them apart, just look at the photos! You can see the color patterns are very different. There is an obvious black cap and head plume on the great blue which isn't there on the tricolor, for example
