Sicily June 2017 (1 Viewer)

renopaul

Bromborough, Wirral, UK
Spent a very pleasant week in Santa Maria del Focallo in South-east Sicily from 28th May - 4th June. There weren't a great deal of moths at our seaside apartment, but on a few nights I put out a black light and attracted a few, some familiar from my Wirral garden, others more (to me) exotic.

The upload limit is 5 photos so I'll start with some I'm fairly confident on, and move on to some I'm just guessing at. Any confirmations/corrections welcome!

I think these are:

Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpuntella)
Small Blood-vein (Scopula imitaria)
Small Dusty Wave (Idaea seriata)
Vestal (Rhodometra sacraria)
Palpita vitrealis

Cheers
Paul
