Whilst driving around Toulouse I passed a farm yard and farmers field.

A Collared Dove was rolling around and flapping, obviously in distress. Then quite bizzarly a troop of Hens wandered over and quite literally attacked the dove!!

I have never seen anything like that before but because was driving had no opportunity to watch the outcome - not that I would have wanted to.

Hens added to 'birds of prey' list....
