Hi Guys and thanks for accepting me (1 Viewer)

Wow! Lucky you.

Hi there and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. Please join in wherever you like ;)

Hi col_hf and a warm welcome to you from me too.

Muscovy Ducks have been widely kept on farms and obviously some go a-wandering, then interbreed with other wild species of ducks producing some rather weird-looking birds.... and this would appear to be one such.

I think you would get some more knowledgeable answers in the ID forum, so I'll move your post there. I've subscribed you to the thread so you can find it easily.

Yes since posting I have been reading several links very informative, I wondered why it was so tame, possibly from a farm where its used to humans, Hope fully I will see it again I would like to feed it like I do the swans and ducks. can you tell me what is good for them to eat ? cheers
