never been too clever with indistinct versions of fnches
i thought the attached could be a greenfinch, although i could be totally off, in which case it could be a chaffinch or a sparrow

pictures taken yesterday in Forest Farm, on the outskirts of Cardiff

can anyone help me make up my mind ?

thanks

hmmm yes, a good thing thing i don't rate my ID skills too highly, otherwise this could be highly embarassing

it must have been the late afternoon light that seemed to give the bird a greenish tinge

thanks for putting me right anyway - one day i'll learn to do it properly
