? little grebe etang de vaugrenier S of France (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if this could be a little grebe. I noticed it when it popped up from a dive . It continued to dive and just popped up long enough for me to get a couple of bad shots as my view was restricted by bushes. Unfortunately it retreated into the reed beds and i didn't see it again.
