Not specifically related to birds, this article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/idt-sh/rhino_poaching details the efforts made by organised crime to take as much rhino horn from the wild as possible until there are no rhinos left. Then they'll move on to other things. However, as so many CITES reports confirm, organised crime is heavily involved with the bird trade.|!||!||!|

goodness, they already wiped out unicorns and dragons. i wish they would recognise goat horn sexual properties and wipe out goats worldwide, that would be ecologically beneficial surely.
