I am hoping that someone can help me ID what type of bat this is. I took the picture today at my house. As usual thank you for the help.

It is hard to estimate the size but looks like a myotis shape wise and the reddish fur leads me to Californian.

But hopefully a USA bat expert will be able to provide a definate ID, an idea of size may help

Hi Mark, and thank you. He was up quite high on the wall, so my size might be off but I would say pretty small. I hate to give an inches guess.
