Sparrowhawk ID (1 Viewer)

A couple of pics. of a Sparrowhawk on top of a hedge in my garden today. The male visits fairly regulary & the female occasionally, this one is different however & I wonder is it a juvenile, one because of the white markings on it's back & the other being that it was unable to catch any house sparrow's that were nearby.

Have anyone got any idea whether it is a juvenile.

I posted a photo of a sparrowhawk in my garden( Sparrowhawk thread) The picture is a bit blured. I'm not up to the standards of photos on this forum.
I sent an e-mail to RSPB for ID. They said it was a female in first season.
You might be able to compare yours with mine.
