Don't really understand what I'm looking at but there is possibly a sketch of a lapwing's head in there?

Another, rather large, clue - I was stood in more or less the same spot when I took this photo.

Good call on location, but very much not Emperor Penguin! The bird in the photo is doing something Emperor Penguins tend not to do too well

since the bird is doing something Empereor Penguins tend not to do too well i'm going for a flying giant petrel.

Well, it was a petrel... a Snow Petrel. I took a long exposure night shot from the bridge of a ship (the Jedi swords are the ship's spotlight beams), and the white squiggle in the photo is the bird's rather wild flight path during the course of the exposure.
