The last couple of weeks Phrase Express has started asking for a Password before starting up.

I get rid of the box by clicking on the little x but wonder how long I will continue being able to do that.

I've never had a password for them and I can't see any way to add one - there doesn't seem to be any "Settings", or similar, option.

Anyone know what is going on?

Hi Delia,
Open Phrase Express, have a look under the File menu item (upper left).
There is an option there to set a password.
One of the options there is to prompt for pw on program start, it seems to be ticked by default.
Have a play there you may somehow have saved a blank pw, though I couldn't get it to do that.

Hi Graham, thanks

I didn't do anything about setting a p/w, the message appeared after the last update. I've found my way to the p/w setting section, and you're right, the box is ticked to ask on start up. However, I can't untick it.
