so i was at Kitch-iti-kipi spring today (michigans upper peninsula) and saw a pair of snow buntings and a brown creeper, lifers for me. also saw hooded and common mergansers, buffleheads, a raven picking at a deers ribcage (possible wolf kill) turkey vultures (slightly unusual sight up here) a fresh bloodtrail accross a parking lot that was most likely from a poached deer.a female kestrel, the first kestrel ive seen in the better part of a decade, a flock of 17 sandhill cranes, calling loudly, and several redpolls (unsure of weather they where common or hoary)
all in all, it was a pretty good day.
