Hello, I'm Mark, now just into my 50s and was an avid birdwatcher as a child.

My love of birdwatching came back over the last few years on long country walks with my wife when we saw birds we wanted to identify.

I still consider myself a beginner though, so will no doubt need help with the odd identification :)

Fortunately, as a keen photographer I'm usually able to take a photo of a bird for identification later.
