Unknown song from the reed bed (1 Viewer)

Hello to all, few day ago, during my field trip, I've noticed one strange song/call in the reed. It sounded like a song of a cirl bunting (E.cirlus) but it was shorther, luckily I have recorded it. Here is the link to that call/song:http://www.xeno-canto.org/sounds/uploaded/WCGXNMXYAJ/XC232842-Audio sn. 52.mp3 Habitat in which it was recorded is reed next to slow moving river with scarce willow trees. Coordinates of that place are next: 45°32'0.45"N 19°56'39.97"E

Sorry for my English.

Hi Radis and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

I've moved your post to the ID forum, as I think you're more likely to get the help you need there. I tried listening to your recording, but unfortunately can't hear anything... maybe someone with younger ears/better equipment will hear something on there.

I've have subscribed you to this thread so you can keep track of it.

Your English is very good.:t:

hi radis,

the quality of that sound is that of a cirl bunting - that's what it has to be! although habitat is not the classic one. but i guess there are dryer habitats around. do you generally have cirl buntings in your area?

Closest area where its commonly found is around 100 km south. All around this river there are cultivated fields and other rivers and canals. It's a plain, no rocks, hills...
