Ross's/Barnacle hybrid? - Essex, UK (1 Viewer)

old Hall ross's goose hybrid

A shot of the hybrid goose at Old Hall from 26/12 knocking around with the presumed feral Barnacles.

Probability suggests that it is a Ross's x Barnacle hybrid, but can a Ross's x Snow goose be ruled out?

My take would be a hybrid Barnacle/Snow Goose.

We have a similar small-billed hybrid currently loafing on my local patch here in Bedfordshire
