Buying binoculars in Sydney, Oz (1 Viewer)

Hanno

Ho Ho Ho
Dear fellow birders,

I will be going on a birding trip to Australia later this year (yippeeee!!!). As this will be the most expensive trip I have ever undertaken, I thought I might as well throw in a pair of 8.5x42 Swarovision. As I cannot possibly get them here in Cambodia, my idea was to buy them the moment I hit the ground in Sydney.

Thus: what shops can you recommend in Sydney that have those bins or can order them?

Thank you in advance,

Hanno

Hi Hanno, if you're planning on passing through Cairns, let me know and I'll help you with the birds here in any way I can.

Regards,
Tony.

Hi Tony,

Appreciate the offer, but we will be on a tour with Birdquest so I guess they will take care of everything. We will actually go to Cairns. Can't wait, even if we do not leave for another 2 months....

You're timing your visit well, just as the waders are returning. Have a brilliant time.:t:
