A report published in the US journal Science compared beak length among great tits in Britain and the Netherlands, where bird feeders are less common. Some birds in Britain have evolved bigger beaks over the past 40 years and researchers believe it may be down to the usage of feeders in the garden.

Less common? In my neighborhood it was like a competition which garden steals birds from a neighbor. ;)
