Yes, its going to be hot, but surely there are some nice spots that are more likely to turn up some rare/nice birds even this time of year?

I'll be spending a few days down South (Eilat, Dead Sea) and just over a week in the North.
Suggestions are appreciated!

I'd say that the two best "hot-spots" would be the Eilat birding center (just outside the city limits) in the south and the Hula Valley in the north.

There are also quite a few guides who would be happy to give you a day's tour in English.
