common or green sandpiper? (1 Viewer)

took this today at low barns in durham, it was a fair way off, but i was sure it was common sandpiper - compared it with green sandpipers in the gallery however, and now im not so sure...........your comments please!

Looks more like Green to me Salty (doesn't have the white extending up into the shoulder) - did you see it fly? Hear it call?

As Andrew said, not a Common, because it hasn't got the white "bra-straps" going up the sides of the breast.
