Smile French Alps Treecreeper - short toed?

I took this shot of a treecreeper in the French Alps above Bourg St Maurice on 21 Feb 2009. Can anyone confirm that it is a short toed treecreeper? The belly is rather buff compared with the neck but I'm not sure how to interpret the white wing bar. Any comments welcome.

That looks pretty good for Short-toed, the white wing markings are good, the buffish rear underside is good, bill length is good and the hind claw is long but not too long.
I'd be quite happy to tick that off as Short-toed.

Thanks very much for that, TWM. That's good to know.

I agree with TWM, wing pattern is diagnostic and the rest looks good as well. Note however that this Short-toed treecreeper has a white-supercilium that extends beyond the eye to reach the bill. That's rather unusual...
