Hello again,

Here are the last 2 ID's I'm hoping to get help with from my trip. Thanks again!

1) I took a photo of this bird along Puget Sound in Washington. My guess is possibly a Glaucous-winged Gull?

2) I took this photo in the same location as the first. I have no guess at all!

I'm not convinced that #2 is a Glaucous-wing. I think much of the dark feathering is pigmentation and not oil. The structure seems wrong as well, especially the shape of the bill which is much more typical of California Gull. I believe that species should be considered.
