Caterpillar ID! Can you help?

I found these 2 caterpillars under the sheet beneath my moth trap at NWT Weeting Heath a couple of days ago and was hoping somebody may be able to ID them for me. I thought the paler of the two was Yellow Shell but it would be great if somebody could confirm this for me. The browner one I haven't a clue! The sheet was laid on a grassy area with all your typical garden weeds growing amongst the grass so I have no idea of the exact food plant unfortunately. All help would be greatly appreciated. Photos attached. Many thanks

Hi,
The first looks like the brown form of Bright-line Brown-eye and the second is probably a Lesser Yellow Underwing.

I don't think the second can be a Lesser Yellow Underwing. From the photo it can be seen that the caterpillar is missing many prolegs, making me think this must be a Geometridae of some kind. Can anyone confirm the second one as a Yellow Shell and if not any other suggestions?

I think the first is also much more likely Square-spot rustic

I think the Yellow Shell ID may be correct but Square-spot Rustic larva is way-off-beam. Please provide a link to a S-sR that resembles the first photo or was it a typo?
