Sample images from pre-production Olympus OM-D E-M5 (1 Viewer)

Four Thirds User have just published the first set of images from a pre-production sample of the Olympus OM-D E-M5. They were only allowed to show jpegs, as the firmware has not been finalised yet. They were taken with the new 12-50mm zoom.

They look quite impressive to me and certainly display a lot less noise than I get with my E-30. If they can eventually manage to get 4/3 lenses to focus quickly with the E-M5 I will definitely consider it, or one of its successors, as my next camera.

Here is a link to the images:

for an ISO of 1600 that look nice.

about the EVF don't worry Ron, at first you will feel funny, but once you make the proper diopter correction for your eye you will find it really marvelous. i guess it has the same resolution of the one now sold as an external VF.
