Common Moorhen (1 Viewer)

I have two different pictures that I suspect to be juvenile Gallinula Chloropus but not sure if they are and the ages.

IMG_1524 is this an adult with a flat bill color?

IMG_2328 is this a juvenile?

Any comment will be appreciated.

Both are Common Moorhens. I'd say the second bird isn't yet in adult plumage. I believe you're spot on with your "suspections".

Thanks Michael and Fritz for your help. First one looks like an non-breeding Common Moorhen based on Sibley book and the second is a Juvenile as you mention.

Regards,

Alejandro
