I like the pretty colors
Hi All
Birder not a snaky/lizard person but see plenty of them in the bush.
Most I can sort of identify but this one has me stuffed.
Some sort of forest dragon but really small any ideas

Hi Greg
I think its Amphibolurus muricarus, commonly known as the Jacky Lizard. About 120mm long?
It ranges from Mackay Qld all the way down the coast to Mt Gambier SA or thereabouts.
Its extremely variable in colour and pattern as I remember.
Hope this gives you something to go off.
Maybe worth Google imaging it now you have something to go off, and try to find images of
ones in your area for the best match.
