ID please! Could it be Rana graeca?
From Mostovska Sushitsa River near Dobrostan. Elevation ca 1500 m.
Found in a stream.

I think one character in brown Rana frogs is to stretch the leg to see whether the joint is in front, at or behind the snout, but I don't know the specifics.

Yes, looks like Rana graeca. But to be sure, you should check the ventral side. graeca has a dark throat with a light median line.

Thanks for comments! I have no other pictures of this frog. But maybe habitat would put gracea on top of the list?!
