Hello from the CA bay area (1 Viewer)

Hello world! My name's James Lawson.

I'm a beginner birder, my interest was sparked by a pair of Great Horned Owls who began their evening excursions in the eucalyptus trees behind the Jamba Juice I use to work at in Laurelwood, San Mateo CA.

Since then I've made many forays into the State and County parks in the Santa Cruz Mountains that we are so lucky to have protected. High sierra is my most preferred place to hike/bird.

Thank you for reading and I sincerely look forward to hearing about other's experiences and learning how to better find and ID birds.

Warmly,
James
