Difference Between Monarch 5 vs Monarch ATB (1 Viewer)

Doesn't look like it to me except for the camouflage on the ATB. All the specs are the same. It may not sell as well as the Monarch "5" which may explain the lower price.

Thanks for the confirmation. I was just curious why the price was different.
Nikon needs to get a better nomenclature system for its products. It's so darn confusing.

With dielectric coatings you'll have a nice sharp image, so I think you'll be quite pleased...

Thanks for the info.

What's the difference between this binoculars and the Zeiss Victory? When I went to B&H I couldn't see that much of a significant difference to warrant a 2000 dollar price tag.

There is no difference between the Monarch 5 and the Monarch ATB. Just a name change. Zeiss has ED glass which will enhance resolution overall, but that has been much of the discussion regarding the Monarch 5 or previous version. Now, with the dielectric coatings on the sub-prisms this becomes a fantastically bright binocular. This is why we sell a murder of Monarchs at every show. Once you count in the 25-year No-fault policy it is hard to beat.

All the best,
