Seen at the Hula Valley Nature Reserve in Israel. Could it be a Steppe Eagle, or would it be a Greater Spotted?
Thanks!!

Smallish head, pale windows, longish tail, pale trailing edge and what appears one crescent all point towards GSE for me.

Another great picture for me to practice on with my new book as this is another species I have not seen or probable see any way.
For me it looks like a Great Spotted Eagle, in the photos of the darker Steppe Eagles show under wing barring in the secondaries. I am only going by the book as have no experience of these birds so photos likes these are great to see .
