Hi

I saw the same species in Illheus about 12 years ago and could not find it in my bird books and saw the same again on a recent visit, does any one have a clue what this bird is......

Looks like a Rufous Hornero.

Thanks Andrew for your quick reply, bill looks a little slender on other images but the colour is right. maybe its just the angle of the photograph.
