Common Dolphins in Norfolk (1 Viewer)

We had a lone Common Dolphin at Whitburn, County Durham on Saturday 7th January - unusual in being the first record for the site and one of just a handful of sightings in north-east England. On Sunday 8th, presumably the same animal was seen about 3km up the River Wear at Sunderland. It wasn't in any obvious distress but clearly it's a worry with it being so far upriver. It's another very strange occurrence on the back of the upriver Norfolk sightings.
