Anyone able to help with this seen last week it was brighter pink and green than the photos suggest. I wondered about Kugelanns ground beetle but this is rare.
or if anyone can suggest anyone I could contact that might be able to help with ID? I have it on the Nat history museum forum but have had no replies.
Many Thanks

Thanks Andy, I took your advice and he kindly identified it for me as Chlaenius nigricornis - Green Nightrunner and also sent some ID guuides. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for that Delia, interesting or perhaps disappointing that this species gets no mention in the latest 'comprehensive' guide to Insects of Britain and Ireland by Brock.
