Just wondered if this is a more general trend in the country but I seem to be seeing more wasps at this time of year than I do normally. Had to escort a couple out of the house at the weekend and remove another couple from the loft who were clearly looking to set up home!

Just wondered if others had noticed the same or whether it was just me!

In the 30 odd years we've been in this house, we can't remember ever having so many wasps! About 20 have made their way out from the loft into the bedrooms, but I can't see any sign of a nest in there so far. As for in the garden .... dozens!

I've seen 3 or 4 so far, which is more than I had this time last year which was a particularly bad year for them.
