Help with metal ringed Common Tern (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Managed to make a read on a metal ringed Common Tern today at Dawlish Warren NNR, Devon.

Good read and defo not a British ringed bird based on the ring number.

Couldn't read the country embossed on the ring so looking for help on this, thus allowing a submission to the BTO.

Read was Z060804, it was an adult.

Anybody familiar with Common Tern schemes that could help identify from which country this was ringed?

Cheers

Lee

Lee,

Long shot, but Brussels have used *Z***** on soft metal rings of the
equivalent size. Could your ring have been 4Z06080?

If not, e-mail the BTO directly on [email protected] and ask if they
can help track the scheme down.
