Hi all,

Has anyone compared these two side by side? I'd be interested in hearing your opinions.

I've handled the 7 at the store on three different occasions so i'm a bit familiar with that one.

A local dealer has both. The Conquest is better. The edges are better on the Conquest, color saturation and contrast also go to the Conquest. I would also say the Conquest has superior apparent build quality.

Not that the Monarch 7 is a bad glass, it's really pretty decent, but the Conquest is the more expensive instrument and it shows.
