First bird - not sure which Lark - is it Fischer's Sparrow Lark?
The second could be a juvenile seedeater
Third was taken just before sunset at Naro Moru River Lodge, possibly a juvenile
Fourth was in Kakamega forest - which woodpecker is this?
Fifth was at Naro Moru

All help much appreciated, apologies for the poor quality of the shots.

Regarding bird 5 - the Helm's guide says the snowy headed Robin Chat is found over in W Kenya, and the White Browed in found in the East - its hard to see from the photo but are you ruling out the White Browed?

so much white should be better for White-browed but surely a difficult picture

First bird is a bishop/widowbird, not a lark. I would guess Yellow Bishop as a possibility, but not identifiable imo.

The woodpecker is very probably a Brown-eared W. Back and head pattern as well as range all match.

This robin-chat photo is too blurred for proper analysis, but why you guys don't consider Rueppell's Robin-Chat as a possibility?

More of the ringed bird

Another photo, slightly different angle

Juvenile White eyed Slaty Flycatcher is the best guess so far.

For additional info, the photo was taken at or near Thomson Falls

That's what it looks like to me. Unfortunately the view of the ring is on the join on that photo. So no further info can be gained, although its almost certainly a bird that is from the local area, a ring number would have established that for certain.

Ring Number

This photo gives a better view of the ring number.
