Hello from Jilin, China (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

Long time birder here who now finds himself in Jilin City, China . This is in the Northeast of the country. I am glad to find this site.

We are coming up on three months here in China. Already I have seen some interesting birds, new additions to my life-list. If interested you can check out my China bird pictures here:

We have quite a few members here who live in China, and you'll find most of them in this forum. You've got some great pictures; sorry, I've only had a chance to skim so far - maybe we'll be able to see some of your work in the Gallery too.

Thanks. I will look around the site some more when I have the time. I did notice, when I posted, my pin on your map, that I am the only one in the Northeast corner of China.

Hi Tom,

Very happy to have you with us! I've visited Jilin briefly, and have a friend telling me to go birding near Changbai mountains. Unfortunately I didn't bird when I lived in Changchun! Hope you will enjoy the China subforum that Delia linked above. Looks like you're seeing and getting some nice pics of the local birds!
