Hi,

I found this with my metal detector today in central Scotland.
Thought it might be a birds and may be of interest to you.
Might you be able to ID it?

There was nothing else near it, no bones, it was about 4" down on a pasture field.

Ive sat it on a pound coin to indicate size.

thanks,

No wonder that there were no bones around. Referring to their website the pigeon was born in 1999, that´s a lot of time for decaying.
