UK Bats - Natterers and Noctule (1 Viewer)

I did a bat walk and talk last year with these http://www.bbowt.org.uk/events/2014/07/18/bat-walk ( lovely people ) and also met David Endacott of Bats Org who is dedicated to rescuing and preserving Bats

http://www.bats.org.uk/pages/about_us.html

The price was a rediculous £3 and they gave a talk first, while getting free tea and biscuits / cakes. After that we were handed bat detectors ( no charge for them ) and went on our walk along the river.

We got another talk afterwards, with more free tea / coffee / biscuits and David Endacott brought out his rescued bats.

These will never be released as they were either savaged by other animals and cannot fly, or they were damaged in some other way. It was a fascinating evening, and can highly recommend it.
