Taken in Brooklyn N.Y. Thursday morning...


I'm pretty sure these are short billed Dowitchers, and this marsh is full of different shore birds. I could clearly see Least and Semi-Palmated Sandpipers, but this bird, to the left of the Dowitchers, doesn't really look like them...

Any help appreciated...

I'm pretty sure it is a Pectoral, even without the front view; only other yellow-legged peep in the vicinity is Least Sandpiper, and it wouldn't be as "tall" as this bird - they tend to look short-legged and hunched-over.
