Mystery bird among thrushes (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the poor quality of the attached photo. I was photographing newly arrived fieldfare in Glen Lyon at the weekend (http://www.birdforum.net/showthread.php?p=229578#post229578) and saw several mistle thrush and song thrush at the same time. This bird had different markings and was hidden in the depths of a tree. I don't know what it is! It was about the same size as the fieldfare, maybe a little smaller. I wondered about a redwing and have never seen one before. I think the reddish marking beside the wing is actually autumn leaf rather than a flank marking.

Can anyone hazard a guess with this awful picture??!!
