Hey Mat, that's unfair - you've just taken a course with some haiku master in Japan, admit it! That has really crossed the line to true art now, and I'm not flattering you. And I, at 2:40 in the morning, haven't even made mine up yet ....

.... gosh, half an hour for that! Well, considering that English is not my mother tongue and that I don't like sushi, the result may not be too bad ... (don't expect any logic at this time of the night):

In front of the reeds
great bitterns sway with the stalks;
at one with the wind.
