Are these both Mallard crosses ? The second one has same coloured bill as a Mallard.

Yeah, they are Mallards. I think they might be some sort of 'recognised breed' with their own name, but they are, to all intense and purpose, Mallards.

The second one is sometimes referred to as a 'bibbed' mallard. Apparently they exist in wild populations as well as your grubby half-farmyard jobs. They also seem to be slightly smaller than normally-patterend mallards.
