Png,

Your pictures look rather soft and slightly OOF. I'm not sure whether it is due to the camera or the scope, as I've not had the experience of using either model. Until very recently I've been getting very crisp shots of birds using an absolutely archaic setup i.e. the Coolpix 990 and Nikon ED78 fieldscope, with a FSA-3 adapter to connect the two.

What kind of adapter do you use?

Regards,

Hor Kee

Hi, Hor Kee, Thanks for your comment, this is the first time I am trying digiscoping. The adapter I am using is a Nikon conversion lens adapter 46mm -52mm through a step up ring 46mm to 52mm from LX 5, Turn the conversion lens adapter side 52mm attach to 52mm from LX 5 and then using the conversion lens adapter side 46mm go directly to the 20x -60 x eyepiece. It fit very nicely to the eyepiece. Picture soft and look bit off may due to photoshop editing. Thank You.

Try out yesterday again with this bushnell Elite 80 ED scope and Lumix LX 5.
