Summer Trip To Maine (1 Viewer)

I might be taking a trip to the coast of Maine the second half of August, and I was just wondering if there's any chance that I would see a puffin. What other "exotic" (I'm from Missouri....) birds might I have a chance of seeing?

you can definitely see puffin lassa 8 - you need to take a trip to machias island to guarantee it - where you can get up close and personal - as i remember trips to the island are limited so you'll need to book in advance probably - there are also breeding razorbills on the island and you should find other alcids around. As well as Eider, Gray Jay, the 'winter finches' and a variety of northern warblers should be available. This link should give you some ideas: http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/usmaine.htm
