OK...I know I'm asking a lot here!
These were well beyond the range of my 400mm lens...so just hoping someone knows the region and recognises species based on jizz.
90% sure all are the same individual

These shots were taken near the Marabou maintained water hole in Savute

It looks more like a pipit to me, especially in the first photo, presumably African Grassland.

But maybe someone with a better eye will be more sure than me.
 
As the tail touches the termite mound, might this be a rare confirmed record of the enigmatic Long-tailed Pipit?

Yes...I realise it was a long shot (excuse terrible pun), and I may have to write this one off!

Really just hoping I might find someone who knew the patch...and could confirm that the place is crawling in {Lewis's enigmatic Long-Tailed Pipits}
